Swansfield is a lovely, large holiday home centrally nestled in the historic market town of Alnwick. Close to local beaches and numerous attractions dotted along the Northumberland coast, this comfortable and relaxing retreat sleeps up to ten guests.
If you are planning a large family holiday, a reunion with loved ones or celebrating a very special occassion, Swansfield is the perfect large holiday home in Alnwick. Comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests, you’ll find plenty of space to unwind and make special memories together.
At Swansfield comfort is key, combing contemporary design with well thought-out accommodation. Our focus is on providing you with a spacious, comfortable and relaxing space to enjoy your quality time together.
The five beautifully appointed bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind, featuring luxurious bedding and stylish decor. With it’s large open-plan kitchen/ diner and ample communal spaces, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay. The large, secure south-facing garden provides a great space for relaxing with plenty of space for children and your four-legged friends and the home’s three bathrooms ensure that everyone can enjoy privacy and convenience during their stay.
Swansfield is perfectly located within walking distance to all of the town’s amenities, providing the perfect retreat for extended families and friends and the perfect base for exploring the glorious Northumbrian coastline.
The picturesque, historic market town of Alnwick is within walking distance of the house and boasts pretty cobbled streets with individual shops and plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants catering to all tastes.
There’s lots for all the family to do in Alnwick including a day out at Alnwick Castle which was the location for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films and the nearby Alnwick Gardens both offering action packed events for children of all ages throughout the year. The town also has it’s own Playhouse, perfect for catching a performance, a museum and plenty of nearby country walks.
Swansfield’s prime location in Alnwick is the ideal base to explore Northumberland which has some of the most beautiful beaches and historic locations in the UK. With dog-friendly beaches and scenic walking trails nearby, your furry friends will love every moment of their stay just as much as you will.
We have a large, secure garden, perfect for letting your furry friends stretch their legs or play with the family and also provide doggy disposal bags, an outside tap for washing down muddy and sandy paws, dog beds and spare feeding bowls.
Hi, we’re Claire and Darren, your hosts at our lovely holiday home, Swansfield. I left my long-term career in the NHS to pursue my lifelong ambition to be a property developer along with my husband and partner Darren who is also a Chartered Civil Engineer.
We pride ourselves on providing high quality, beautifully designed, comfortable accommodation. We love renovating properties and have enjoyed turning Swansfield into a stylish and comfortable retreat.
Alnwick is a special place for our family, having spent many summers exploring Northumberland when our children were younger. We still love visiting the area for it’s beautiful beaches and picturesque towns. We wanted a place so that we could continue to visit the area in a home from home environment that our family and friends could enjoy for many years.
Swansfield has been lovingly updated to ensure you and your family have the most comfortable coastal retreat.
As lovers of travel and interiors, we appreciate stylish and comfortable accommodation, drawing inspiration from our travels . We believe comfort is key and wanted to re-create this at Swansfield with super comfortable beds, stylish soft furnishings and all of the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway.
